''Unusual" Russian flights worry NATO

Alarm bells have been raised by NATO Officials about an “unusual” uptick in the size and scale of Russian aircraft flying throughout European airspace in the recent days.
According to a press release from NATO, the flights represent an “unusual” level of air activity over European airspace, they claimed none of the Russian aircraft filed customary flight plans or maintained radio contact with Civilian aviation authority or used any of their on board transponders which poses a potential risk to aviation as civilian air traffic control cannot detect these aircraft or ensure there is no interference with civilian air traffic.
One wonders what the Russians have in mind doing all these, when will there ever be peace in this world.
