The Govt of Liberia issued a statement weeks
back that it was going to prosecute Duncan( the man that took ebola to the USA)
as soon as he was discharged from the hospital, the same Govt claimed the man
took a family member to the hospital but was rejected because of lack of bed
space, the same man ran to the USA to seek for medical help since he could
afford a flight ticket and knowing full well that no hospital in Liberia will
admit him and going to other African countries will be tantamount to suicide
taking a clue at what happened to Patrick Sawyer, unfortunately he did not live
to face prosecution but not after infecting innocent nurses that took care of
him.
Liberian Govt failed to apologize to Nigerian
Govt when they failed to stop Patrick Sawyer from traveling to Nigeria; I feel
that the Govt of Liberia is purposely sending these human missiles to other
nations maybe for the simple reason that the world is not doing enough to stop
ebola, it was after Patrick infected Nigerians with ebola (the most populous
black nation in the world) that ebola got the attention of the world, luckily
Nigeria was able to tame the virus but not after losing about seven of its citizens,
their mission failed. The attention of the world was shifted from ebola with
most nations commending Nigeria yet the ebola was causing mayhem in Liberia. To
get the attention of the world, Duncan was sent to the USA and now they have finally
gotten the attention.
The world should tame this virus once and for
all but not after taking a clue from Nigeria, Liberian Govt must apologize to
the whole world for sending human missiles in the name of seeking for help to tame the virus
